MINUTES

Members Present: Chairman Jeff Engelmann; Supervisor 1 Vicky Mueller; Supervisor 2 Brandon Taylor Supervisor 3 Matthew Jicha; Supervisor 4 Dennis Taylor; Clerk Cheryl Stumbris; Treasurer Hope Wesolowski

Others Present: Greg Warrington, Katie Lardinois; James Pociask; Jack Pociask; Jim Pickett; Bob Wesolowski

Chairman Jeff Engelmann called the meeting to order at 7 P.M.

Motion to Approve agenda was made by Supervisor Dennis Taylor; Seconded by Supervisor Mueller; Motion Carried.

Motion to Approve Minutes as read was made by Supervisor Brandon Taylor; Seconded by Supervisor Jicha; Motion Carried.

Financial Report

BOH as of 5/1/2026

Checking $7,038.90

MM General Account $ 737,571.32

Motion to Approve financial report was made by Supervisor Mueller; Seconded by Supervisor Brandon Taylor Motion Carried

Vouchers were reviewed by all board members and approved.

Katie Lardinois requested to purchase a piece of property off of Hazelnut Rd that belongs to the Town of Wausaukee. Supervisor Dennis Taylor made a motion to notice sealed bids for purchase of 50’ wide strip of land at minimum of $3000.00. Seconded by Supervisor Jicha. Motion carried.

Jim Pickett with Rural Mutual insurance stated he would like to speak to underwriting next year prior to renewal as far as Insurance costs and where the town can save some monies. He continued to reviewed current Town Insurance and Workers Compensation policy along with answering any questions the board had.

Liquor License was approved for “Bear Point Yacht Club” pending all paperwork is in order on a motion by Supervisor Dennis Taylor. Seconded by Supervisor Vicky Mueller; Motion carried.

Liquor License & Cigarette License for “Country Roads Bar & Grill LLC” was approved on a motion by Supervisor Mueller. Seconded by Supervisor Brandon Taylor; Motion carried.

Supervisor Brandon Taylor made a motion to schedule “Board of Review” for August 1, 2026 from 8:00 am to 10:00 am. Along with “Open Book” with the Assessor on July 25, 2026 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am; Supervisor Jicha seconded; Motion carried.

Road Construction 2026 will begin end of August /early September. Glendale Rd Bridge is complete and road crew are currently preparing Glendale Rd for Blacktop.

Chairman Engelmann gave an update from recent Rescue Squad meeting. Brat Fry fund raiser went well and they plan to do a few more this summer. They will increase current billing rates within allowable limits; the board agreed to sign the Notice of Non-renewal of EMS Coverage Agreement with Twin Bridge Rescue squad for 2027. The board also agreed to begin more work sessions and the need for additional education regarding mutual aid operations.

Supervisor Jicha Made a motion to cover half the cost of new slide at ballfield playground up to $1200.00; Supervisor Brandon Taylor seconded. Motion carried

Supervisor Brandon Taylor made a motion to grant easement request to New Charter Seconded by Dennis Taylor. Motion carried.

Supervisor Dennis Taylor made a motion to approve 6-5-26 CSM review M Bearson Town of Wausaukee J Lieuwen Land Surveyor; seconded by Supervisor Jicha. Motion carried.
