MINUTES

Members Present: Chairman Jeff Engelmann; Supervisor 1 Bob Jicha; Supervisor 2 Brandon Taylor; Supervisor 3 Matthew Jicha; Supervisor 4 Dennis Taylor; Treasurer Hope Young; Clerk Cheryl Stumbris,

Others Present: Bob Wesolowski; Chris Grove; Jeff Schwaller, Pat Brien; Ruth Schroeder

Chairman Engelmann called the meeting to order at 7:00 P.M.

Motion to Approve agenda was made by Supervisor Bob Jicha; Seconded by Supervisor Dennis Taylor; Motion Carried.

Motion to Approve Minutes was made by Supervisor Brandon Taylor; Seconded by Supervisor Matt Jicha; Motion Carried.

Financial Report

BOH as of 9/30/2021

Checking $21,579.13

MM General Account $ 600,347.30

Motion to Approve financial report was made by Supervisor Bob Jicha; Seconded by Supervisor Dennis Taylor; Motion Carried.

Vouchers were reviewed by all board members and approved.

Jeff Schwaller with Ranger City Riders Snowmobile Club spoke to the board regarding some issues with getting Corridor 1 trail ready for this coming season. Easement for a piece of property is not available this year, with no other alternatives available. He is asking if a part of Lubka Rd can be used for snowmobile trail. Board of Supervisors agreed unless a contingency plan is presented at next meeting. Final approval will be at November meeting.

Pat Brien with Wausaukee Branch Library thanked the Town of Wausaukee for their 12 years of support. She also gave update on timeline of moving into new building. The Board agreed to continue monetary support for the Library as needed.

Road Construction 2021 is completed.

Supervisor Bob Jicha made a motion to accept Resolution #101321 creating Election Wards. Seconded by Supervisor Brandon Taylor; Motion carried.

Chairman Engelmann gave update on Rescue Squad. He stated in the closed session the consensus was “Hire a lawyer”. Another meeting was held where all municipalities each sent letters to WRS President Formal notice of termination of 2021 agreement for EMS with WRS Inc. effective Dec.21, 2021.

Letters of Resignation were received from both President and Secretary.

He stated there will be some budget changes; also regular quarterly statements and yearly audits.

Supervisor Bob Jicha made a motion to schedule Budget Workshop for 6:00 pm on October 26, 2021. Seconded by Supervisor Brandon Taylor; Motion carried.

Supervisor Dennis Taylor made a motion to set Budget Hearing for Nov.9, 2021 at 7:00 pm following Regular scheduled meeting at 6:30 pm. Seconded by Supervisor Matt Jicha; Motion carried.

Supervisor Bob Jicha made a motion to adjourn at 7:57 pm; seconded by Supervisor Dennis Taylor. Motion carried.
