MINUTES

Members Present: Chairman Jeff Engelmann; Supervisor 1 Vicky Mueller; Supervisor 2 Brandon Taylor; Supervisor 3 Matthew Jicha; Supervisor 4 Dennis Taylor; Treasurer Hope Wesolowski; Clerk Cheryl Stumbris,

Chairman Engelmann called the meeting to order at 7:00 P.M.

Motion to Approve agenda was made by Supervisor Matt Jicha; Seconded by Supervisor Brandon Taylor; Motion Carried.

Motion to Approve Minutes as read was made by Supervisor Vicky Mueller; Seconded by Supervisor Dennis Taylor; Motion Carried.

Financial Report

MM General Account $ 507,433.07

Motion to Approve financial report was made by Supervisor Brandon Taylor; Seconded by Supervisor Vicky Mueller; Motion Carried.

Vouchers were reviewed by all board members and approved.

Michael Edlebeck addressed the Town board with his concerns; along with questions in regards to building a Communications Tower on a property on Perch Lake Rd. He also brought along information to share with the board. Although the town of Wausaukee does not have zoning there are other avenues to achieve goal of not issuing a permit if the Town so chooses that direction. He shared copies of ordinances from other municipalities as references. Brian Poulin Rep from Cloud1Services was present to answer any questions the board had. He also gave details that Cloud 1 Services propose to construct a 340’ guyed tower and installation of telecommunication equipment at a 100’ x 100’ area which is currently agriculture and wooded land and will be fenced in. Its primary purpose is to provide Internet service in the rural areas.

Chairman Engelmann reported that Road Construction 2023 will be completed by September.

Closing for Sale of Property Parcel #036-00107.001will be Next week.

Supervisor Matt Jicha made a motion to revise ATV /UTV Route Ordinance under Section lll Routes: All roads under the jurisdiction of the Town of Wausaukee unless listed in Appendix A, are hereby designated as all-terrain vehicle routes and utility terrain vehicle routes (herein referred to as A.T.V. routes); also Section lV Conditions: 9.) A.T.V. Operators shall slow to a speed of 10 m.p.h. or less when within 100 ft of a person not on or in a motorized vehicle. Seconded by Supervisor Brandon Taylor; 4 AYE / 0 NAY Motion carried.

Supervisor Matt Jicha suggested that the town consider lawyer/ Legal consultation. Board of Supervisors agreed to research retaining lawyer and checking with WI Towns Association.

Supervisor Mueller reported she had had a discussion with Representative for GFL. Board agreed Garbage pickup will remain the same. She also visited Eagle Waste & Recycling in Eagle River, Wi. and brought back informational sheets on Recycling.

Liquor License was approved for “Bear Point Yacht Club” on a motion by Supervisor Matt Jicha, seconded by Supervisor Dennis Taylor. Motion carried.

Liquor / Cigarette Licenses was approved for “Sociables Bar and Grill” on a motion by Supervisor Vicky Mueller, seconded by Supervisor Matt Jicha. Motion carried.

Operators Licenses for Maribeth Barbuch was approved on a motion by Supervisor Brandon Taylor, seconded by Supervisor Vicky Mueller, Motion carried.

Supervisor Brandon Taylor made a motion to schedule Board of Review for July 29, 2023 from 8:00 am to 10:00 am, Along with Open Book with the Assessor on July 22, 2023 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. Seconded by Chairman Engelmann; Motion carried.

Supervisor Dennis Taylor made a motion to adjourn at 8:10 pm; seconded by Supervisor Brandon Taylor. Motion carried.
