MINUTES

Members Present: Chairman Jeff Engelmann; Supervisor 2 David Tomasino; Supervisor 3 Matt Jicha; Supervisor 4 Dennis Taylor; Clerk Cheryl Stumbris, Treasurer Sally Hultquist

Members Absent: Supervisor 1 Bob Jicha;

Others Present: Bob Wesolowski; Dennis & Joan Boom; Bob Raduenz, Ken & Kim Lardinois

Chairman Engelmann called the meeting to order at 7:00 P.M.

Motion to Approve agenda was made by Supervisor Taylor Seconded by Supervisor Matt Jicha; Motion Carried.

Motion to Approve Minutes was made by Supervisor Taylor; Seconded by Supervisor Matt Jicha; Motion Carried.

Financial Report

BOH as of 7/31/20

Checking $13,487.04

MM General Account $ 390,846.89

Motion to Approve financial report was made by Supervisor Matt Jicha; Seconded by Supervisor Taylor; Motion Carried

Vouchers were reviewed by all board members and approved.

Chairman opened discussion regarding request for variance to plow Oxbow Lane. He questioned whether or not Bob Raduenz had any luck with finding someone to plow Oxbow Lane. He had not , and with that he stated again that the turnaround was sufficient in size for town trucks to turn around Chairman Engelmann stated that with the size of our trucks there has been costly damage to the town trucks, so this coming year we will not be plowing private roads and driveways.

Joan Booms thanked the Town for the years of service and complimented the road crew on a job well done.

Ken Lardinois from East Lost Lake Dr. spoke on the difficulty to find someone to plow private roads, along with sand and salt. He says the most common answer “I'm too busy”. Ken offered an option for Town to advertise for private roads. Town cannot advertise for private businesses. Board offered some suggestions and would help with some names. Chairman Engelmann asked for a motion to grant variance to plow Oxbow Lane three (3) times without success.

Packer City Truck Invoice for $17,042.47 was discussed and board agreed that monies will come out of Equipment Fund.

Operator's license for Maribeth Barbuch was approved on a motion by Supervisor Taylor; Seconded by Supervisor Tomasino. Motion carried.

Supervisor Taylor made motion to approve Virtual Open Book with Jerome Pillath. Seconded by Supervisor Matt Jicha, 3 ayes, 1 nay (Supervisor Tomasino). Motion Carried

Supervisor Matt Jicha made a motion to set date for Board of Review for September 5, 2020 from 9:00 am to 11:00am; Seconded by Supervisor Taylor. Motion Carried. Go to townofwausaukee.com  for Notices.

At 7:33 pm Supervisor Taylor made a motion to adjourn to Board of Audit, Seconded by Supervisor Tomasino

THE BOARD OF AUDIT EXAMINED THE BOOKS OF THE CLERK AND COMPARED THE TO TREASURERS REPORT AND BANK STATEMENTS AND FOUND THEM TO BE TRUE AND ACCURATE
