MINUTES

Members Present: Chairman Jeff Engelmann; Supervisor 1 Bob Jicha; Supervisor 2 David Tomasino; Supervisor 3 Kurt Stumbris; Supervisor 4 Dennis Taylor; Treasurer Sally Hultquist; Clerk Cheryl Stumbris,

Chairman Engelmann swore in re-elected Clerk Cheryl Stumbris; Clerk Cheryl Stumbris swore in re-elected Chairman Engelmann, Supervisor 1 Robert Jicha, and Supervisor 2 David Tomasino and Treasurer Sally Hultquist,

Chairman Engelmann called the meeting to order at 6:30 P.M.

Motion to Approve agenda was made by Supervisor Jicha; Seconded by Supervisor Taylor; Motion Carried.

Motion to Approve Minutes was made by Supervisor Jicha with change to Motion to Approve April 2019 financial report was made by Supervisor Stumbris; Seconded by Supervisor Jicha, not Supervisor Taylor; Supervisor Jicha also advised not to post minutes of meetings until approved. Seconded by Chairman Engelmann; Motion Carried.

Financial Report

BOH as of 3/31/2019

Checking $13,157.02

MM General Account $ 329,240.24

Motion to Approve financial report was made by Supervisor Tomasino; Seconded by Supervisor Taylor; Motion Carried

Vouchers were reviewed by all board members and approved.

Chairman Engelmann open blacktop bids. Bids were received from Northeast Asphalt, Inc. and Scott Construction. Supervisor Taylor made a motion to award bid to Scott Construction for Cold mix @ $58.90 per ton and 20FT mile using 1,350 ton of cold mix @ $79,515.00; also 20FT Mile using 100% fractured 3/8” granite @$20,800.00 Seconded by Supervisor Stumbris,4 aye; 1 nay by Supervisor Jicha, Motion carried.

Road construction 2019 will be tabled until May 14, 2019 meeting.

Board of Review for the Town of Wausaukee to be held at the Town Hall Tuesday, May 14, 2019 as required by State Statutes at 6:59 PM. But will immediately adjourn to later date.

All the necessary permits to proceed with the culvert replacement project on Pike River rd. have been secured. Next step is a phone conversation between Town of Wausaukee and Kurt Schlimme Land Protection Specialist to lay out the next steps, including if the Town will be supplying the crew to do the replacement, securing materials, and other logistical matters (such as the temporary movement of any utilities in order to do the work). 

Ron Rost, Wausaukee Lions reported that the Lions Club has medical equipment available to be borrowed free of charge. He also asked the Town board to consider a donation for AED (Automated External Defibrillator) to be placed at Wausaukee School

Supervisor Jicha made a motion to adjourn at 7:00 pm; seconded by Supervisor Taylor. Motion carried.
